Kirk's quarters--the Captain's quarters--aren't hard to find. They're very near the bridge, in case of emergencies, in case he needs to be contacted or found off-duty. That being said he's rarely in them, and waiting for Khan there feels strange.

He watches the time.

Khan arrives precisely on time, with a precision that Spock would envy.

The door chimes politely to announce his arrival.

"Come in."

Kirk calls, professional and even, in case it's not Khan at all. But he's sure it is, he can see the time, and he smiles.

Walking in to Kirk smiling does things to him. He draws in a breath, and steps forwards again as the door slides shut behind him.

"Captain."

He hits a button on his desk to lock the door, and to alert the bridge to only contact him in emergencies.

"How much did you get done?"

"I finished."

He admits, hands folding behind his back.

"There was more to come, unfortunately, but I completed all that was there."

Kirk nods, because that is the nature of the work: you can only complete it for a few hours at a time. If that.

"And you still feel up to being tied up?"

"Yes, captain. I took breakfast- though I must confess, I slept soon after your left me, without remembering to find a meal."

He'll follow the letter of Kirk's law, where possible.

"Come here."

He's taken one of McCoy's medical scanners; he wants to be sure Khan doesn't, for some reason, have low blood sugar because of it. Can Augmented humans have such deficiencies, he wonders?

They can, and he does. He has a plethora of little aches, contusions, problems, that don't want to manifest on his skin, that he'd heal better any time other than this, but that are proving impossible to recover from now.

Kirk frowns and touches one of them, watching Khan's expression.

"Is this normal?"

"Mm?"

Yes. It's baseline for him, there's no evidence of it, he doesn't know it's there.

He nods, reviews the readings, and decides it's safe to proceed.

"Stand over there, under the hook."

He moves to do so, content as can be. He's already putting his hands together behind his back.

Kirk fastens them one at a time and then together, and he hoists up just enough to be uncomfortable.

He tips forward, elegantly, until he's bent at the waist, with his arms up over his head.

He makes it look graceful.

Kirk can't help ruffling his hair gently, stroking the back of his head.

He just vibrates in pleasure, rumbling down to his toes, head lifting gently.

Yes please.

"Can you really last for four hours for me?"

Kirk murmurs to him. Four hours would leave him with time to clean up, eat, and sleep before the next shift.

"Of course."

He says, still rocking forwards onto his toes, against the rope, chasing Kirk's fingertips, starved utterly for affection.

It's a surprising realization for Kirk, but he reaches out slowly and strokes Khan's cheek.

"How does it feel so far?"

"I don't feel it."

He admits, because it'll take a lot longer than this for him to begin to strain or tire. His eyes burn at the touch, and it's painfully obvious that even this much is enough to win him far too completely.

Kirk is instantly conflicted. But Khan must know what this is doing, and he has proven willing to compromise or at least talk with Kirk about things he doesn't like.

So he bends a little, and both hands cup Khan's face.

His mouth drops open a hair and he has to close his eyes and just breathe.

It's uncomfortable, discovering such a naked achilles heel, but there's nothing he wouldn't do for him to continue.

He's never seen a reaction quite as powerful as this one, for all Khan's stillness and silence. His thumb traces under his lower lip, and along his chin, and he glides his fingertips along his jaw.

He might as well have his hands somewhere much more intimate, the way Khan opens up and keens for him, just begging for it, wanting for all the world to push into him but not quite daring for fear of disrupting the touches.
