Kirk's quarters--the Captain's quarters--aren't hard to find. They're very near the bridge, in case of emergencies, in case he needs to be contacted or found off-duty. That being said he's rarely in them, and waiting for Khan there feels strange.

He watches the time.

If there is one thing Kirk loves, it's contact, and he hasn't had such undivided attention in what feels like ages.

Khan murmurs something unintelligible, and brings his palms down flat on Kirk's back, gently. Then harder, and harder again, building him up with slow practice.

He growls in low approval, though the harder it gets the more Kirk tenses and looks at him under his arm.
